"May 1st was a warm, balmy night in L.A. and I made my first visit to The Gardenia, a small and intimate room, perfect for singers. Anne Kerry Ford was accompanied on piano in what would prove to be a very eventful program. Ford looked lovely in a navy gown as she started the set with "Speak Low." Her voice has a natural lilt to it and by the end of the evening I was convinced this lady could easily do a Broadway show. "The Folks Who Live On The Hill" was a wonderful story, Ford's voice warm and evocative.

Ford got into character for a spoof on Texas accents. She had fun as she sang "Tumblin' Tumbleweeds." She got the audience to join her and the song lightened up the place. "My Husband's First Wife" was another humorous tune that Ford sold real well. Ford was joined by her husband, blues guitarist Robben Ford and bassist Chris Symer.

Anne Kerry Ford's eclectic CD, In The Nest Of The Moon, gives a good idea of her work, but there is nothing like a live performance to convey the hear and soul of a performer. Ford has a lot going for her, a lovely yet versatile voice, a sense of humor, confidence and a stylish presence. I predict great things for her"
